Tuesday, 11am - TRAFFIC is backed up in the Barrowby Road area of Grantham after another lorry has struck the bridge.
Despite huge illuminous warning signs on the bridge, a truck carrying a digger has got stuck, causing traffic chaos in Barrowby Road, on the Asda roundabout and in Sankt Augustin Way.
Police are at the scene directing traffic, with one lane closed either side of the bridge.
An officer from Network Rail attended the scene to survey the damage to the bridge.
The lorry and digger belonged to Nottinghamshire based company Sinbad Plant Hire.
