Bingham man half way through epic Vietnam cycle ride

A Bingham man is almost half way through an epic bicycle ride in Vietnam to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Brian Cooke, pictured holding a copy of the Journal in Vietnam, said: “This picture was taken halfway between Hue and Danang in Vietnam whilst doing a tour for the day. I have done around 550 to 600 miles so far and have about 600 to 650 miles left.”

Brian hopes to raise more than £1,000 for the charity as his mother has the disease. This is his first trip to Vietnam and he is facing the challenge on his own. The journey will take five weeks.
