KFC developer will just appeal decision anyway

WITH reference to the article relating to the Development Control Meeting regarding the KFC decision, it does say that the Isaac Newton Pub has got planning permission for demolition which is correct.

This was given on the 19th January 2012. Maltings Tower will be demolished eventually as it has been given planning permission for residential, business and industrial development under reference S10/2813.

My comment relating to the land on the site of the Shirley Croft Hotel is that the developer will probably go to the Planning Inspecorate on an appeal against our decision to refuse permission.

The committee asked for a revision to the plans for the site. The developer did submit revised plans, but not what was agreed by the committee so therefore our for privacy for neighbouring properties remained.
