Website directs Lincolnshire groups to funding

COMMUNITY groups will be helped to find funding thanks to a new website.

Lincolnshire County Council set up the free Lincolnshire Funding Portal as a resource for community and voluntary groups, parish and town councils, religious organisations, registered charities, social enterprises and youth groups.

Councillor Sue Woolley said: “The new website will really help local groups wishing to find sources of funding. Sometimes even a relatively small amount can cover a group’s running costs and help them continue their vital work. Or they may need funding for new equipment, improving premises, holding an event, or a whole host of other requirements.”

The website allows users to search hundreds of different sources of funding and grants. Go to www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/fundingsearch
