Anthony Huddleston

MR Anthony James Huddleston (Tony), of Hickling, Norfolk, has died in Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. He was 62.

Born in Walsall, near Birmingham, in 1949, he was the son of Joyce and the late Jim Huddleston. He had one brother, Peter.

He was married to Susan. They had two children, Claire and Melanie and three grandchildren, Ebony, Georgia and Evelyn.

He lived in Foston, until 1986, when he and his family relocated to Wales. In 1998 the family moved to Norfolk.

Mr Huddleston started work in the catering industry but later in 1990, changed his career to regional sales manager for a chemical company.

He enjoyed gardening, driving, travelling, caravanning and building model railways.

Sheila Finch conducted the funeral service at St Peter’s Church, Foston. Burial followed in the churchyard.

Family mourners included: David Guitton, Susan Huddleston, Melanie Murray, Claire Guitton, Ebony Guitton, Joyce Huddleston, Peter Huddleston, Jaqui Henry, Robert Phillips, Christine Phillips, Herbert Phillips, Lionel Guitton, Francoise Guitton, Mark Murray, and Lynn Hogg.

Other mourners included: Mukesh and Chandrika Tribhovan, Mr and Mrs Jones, Kelly Jones, Jackie Davies, Peter and Rita Drury, Mr and Mrs Rowbotham, Alan Phillips, Dorothy Phillips, Philip Rowbotham, David and Janet Meek, Violet Sentence, Mr and Mrs Worth, Mr C. Snowden, Linda Baxter, Gordon and May Sampson, Lynn Mudie, Fred and Pearl Farmer, Tony Farmer, Alan Snowden, Dot Ball, Dorothy Scott, Mr and Mrs D. Robinson, Mr and Mrs Myers, Brenda De’Ath, Malcolm and Eileen Ross, Monica Winters, Mr D. C. Freeman, Mr and Mrs Stuckins, Betty Phillips, Julie Topley, Christine Bladon, Mr and Mrs T. Oliver, Ian, Joyce and Keith Phillips, John Bladon, Melvyn and Susan Oliver, Anthony and Susan Murray, Peter Murray and Barbara Bensberg.

Funeral arrangements were by Geeson Funeral Directors, Westgate, Grantham.

Donations for Leukaemia Research, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, amount to £430 to date.
