Miss M. E. Bullock Mr A. P. Hides
MISS Marianne Elizabeth Bullock, daughter of Stuart and Janet Bullock, of Carlton Scroop, and Mr Andrew Paul Hides, son of Muriel Hides of Grantham, and the late Des Hides, were married at St Nicholas Church, Carlton Scroop.
The service was conducted by the Rev June Freshney.
Given away by her father, the bride wore a teal, strapless, full-length chiffon dress with diamante trim and claret ruffle. She carried red and yellow gerberas, roses and gladioli.
Bridesmaids were Tracy Brumpton and Shel Nicholson, wearing wine prom dresses with rose corsages and matching wraps and carrying hand-tied posies of red roses, red and yellow gerberas and yellow freesias.
Best man was Paul Mellor. Ushers were Ian Hides, bridegroom’s brother, and James Hides, bridegroom’s nephew.
The reception was held at Carlton Scroop village hall with an evening reception at Grantham Railway Club.
The couple will live in Grantham.
Marianne is a senior conductor and she enjoys gardening, cricket, travelling and architecture. Andrew is a signalman and his interests include photography, walking, travelling and cricket.
