Miss M. Hebrard Mr J. Balchin

MISS Monique Hebrard, daughter of Neville and Edna Hebrard, of South Africa, and Mr Jonathan Balchin, son of John Balchin of the Philippines and Susan Tresadern, of Thornhaugh, were married at Palm Dune Beach Lodge, Natal, South Africa.

The ceremony was conducted by Derek Potgieter.

Given away by her parents, the bride wore a long, pearl laced, ivory fishtail style dress with Spanish ivory mantilla lace veil.

Bridesmaids were Charnell Hebrard and Natalie Toyne, wearing Burnt Orange cocktail dresses and carrying sunflowers and burnt orange flowers.

Page boys were Daniel Pumfleet and Adam Garnett, wearing white shirts, khaki linen chinos and burnt orange waistcoats.

Best men were Matthew Blow and Iain Balchin. Ushers were Jon Pumflett and Simon Higgs.

The reception was held at Palm Dune Beach Lodge, and a honeymoon followed in Dubai.

Monique is a performing artists and her interests include scuba diving, salsa dancing, water sports and outdoor activities. Jonathan enjoys football, scuba diving and writing.
