Thursday, 12.40pm - WACKY wigs, crazy costumes and big smiles were worn by pupils at Cliffedale Primary School on Wednesday.
The pupils wore their fun costumes for lessons in the morning before heading out to the playing field in the afternoon to take part in a sponsored walk to raise money for the school.

They walked up to fifty laps around the field.

Martin Dean, deputy head teacher and healthy school co-ordinator, said: " It was a good opportunity for the children to get out in the summery weather, have some fun and raise money for the school at the same time.

"The school is most grateful for the support parents and friends of the school have given to the event."

National Express has donated first class rail tickets to the school as a prize for the pupil who collects the most sponsorship money.
