Tuesday, 5.15pm - DAME Kelly Holmes made a guest appearance at the South West Lincolnshire School Games in Grantham today.
She flew in by helicoptor to see what activities children in participating schools had been doing.

She was one of four celebrities on hand to cheer on the youngsters taking part at the South Kesteven Sports Stadium - also there was Gladiator Roderick Bradley, aka Spartan, swimming legend Duncan Goodhew and paraplegic athlete Clive Wright.

Watch the video to hear what Dame Kelly had to say about the crowd's reaction to her arrival.

See more of the action and celebrity interviews on the Journal's website tomorrow.
