Tuesday, 9.20am - JOURNAL photographer Toby Roberts visits the clocktower at the Guildhall Arts Centre, Grantham.
Technician Dave Pike explains how the Guildhall's clock is now operated by computer and automatically adjusts itself at the beginning and end of British summer time.

Original clock faces dating to around 1870, as well as the timbers and chains holding them in place, are still in place in the building.

The clock's bell was installed in 1937.

Visitors to the clocktower can enjoy panoramic views across Grantham from a height of around 140 feet.
