Tuesday, 10am - PUPILS of a Grantham school relished the chance to tell off their principal when students and staff swapped roles for the day.
St Hugh's Maths and Computing College took part in 11 Million Takeover Day on Friday, an event run by the Children's Commissioner for England to give youngsters the chance to take charge.
Pupil Tom Figura donned his smartest suit and swapped roles with principal Richard Johnston.
Tom said: "I've taken over the principal's duties and taken over his meetings.
"It's been really good and enjoyable - it's good to be the boss for the day."
'Naughty pupil' Mr Johnston, playing the part with a wonky tie and untucked shirt, said: "It's strange to be in a lesson and to see the other side. They love telling me to tuck my shirt in.
"It's great for me to sit in class as one of them."
