No longer belongs to those on foot,
It's now 'wheels are us' thereon?
And woe betide those who get in their way,
For now it seems - it's just a freeway?
If you dare to step on the pavement now,
You could be in dire straits.
But stepping on the road as well,
Is surely tempting fate?
What in the name of Heaven though,
Are you really supposed to do?
It seems there is only one answer,
Which can be given to you.
I'm afraid there are no options here,
You really must just learn to fly!
For as sure as God made little apples,
If you don't you could surely die!
Pedestrians in the land unite,
Stand your ground - put up a fight!
