Critically acclaimed show to tell Arthurian tale

Tuesday, noon - NEW Perspectives Theatre Company will present the compelling Sir Gawain and the Green Knight at Colsterworth Village Hall on Saturday.
Set in Arthurian times, the production tells the tale of the young knight's epic journey with help from four storytellers and a supporting cast of puppets, music and special effects.


The critically acclaimed show, translated by Simon Armitage and directed by Daniel Buckroyd, is packed with swashbuckling action and humour.


Hosted by Newton's Players, the show is suitable for adults and children over eight-years-old and starts at 7.30pm.


Tickets are £7 for adults, £6 concessions and £4 for under-16s. A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £18. All are available by calling 01476 860158.


The company will also perform at Allington Village Hall on Thursday (November 20), Welbourn Village Hall on December 2, Harby Village Hall on December 5 and at Sewstern Village Hall on January 15.
