Grantham Dramatic Society brings us a tale of disguise, deception, love and laughs from Wednesday at the Guildhall Arts Centre.
Nobody's Perfect, written by Simon Williams, concerns failed writer Leonard Loftus. He's middle-aged, divorced, boring and going nowhere.

Meanwhile, Myrtle Banbury has just won a £100,000 deal to publish her new book and is anything but boring. In fact, she's an outrageously eccentric new star and she's going places. Glitz and glamour await her just as soon as the contract is signed.

However, what the feminist publisher doesn't know is that Myrtle is actually Leonard whose teenage daughter and dad are also oblivious.

The society performs its latest production from Wednesday to Saturday, October 11, at 7.30pm.

  • Tickets are £7 (£6 concessions) on Wednesday and £8 (£7 concessions) all other nights. For details or to book call the box office (Tel: 01476 406158 or go to www.guildhallartscentre.com
