Country music of the highest standard comes to the Guildhall Theatre on Wednesday, July 23, with Ollie Austin and his All-star Band in their The Best of Friends Tour.
Golden-voiced Ollie (pictured far left) has been one of the leading performers on the UK country scene. Backing him is a five-piece band of lead guitarist Mervyn Futter, his daughter Maria on bass, Debbie Allen on keyboards and accordion, Les Wright on pedal steel guitar, and drummer Andy James.

The show has many well-known songs and some rarely heard – a mixture of ballad and up tempo numbers, many of which the audience can sing along to.
