World renowned harpsichord player Douglas Hollick will open Harlaxton Summer Music series at Harlaxton Manor on Friday, May 15.
Douglas is well-known to Harlaxton audiences and will be playing his copy of a French harpsichord of 1711.

He has gained an international reputation as a player of early keyboard music, and now has four CDs out on the Riverrun Records label. He will play Bach's monumental Goldberg Variations - the greatest keyboard work from the 18th Century, which present a wonderful kaleidoscope of ideas and colours, ranging from canonic writing to great virtuosity.

7.30pm: £8 (£6.50) from Grantham Clothing Company, London Road, or 0845 0547171
