Monday, 10.45am - FORTY years in showbiz will be celebrated by Grantham-born actor and singer Douglas Gorin with his final music hall show at The Guildhall on Thursday, October 23.
Music Hall Memories will feature Douglas, who brought professional pantomime to Grantham, singing some of his favourite songs in his rich baritone voice.

Spanning four decades, his career has included a stint in the world famous Black and White Minstrel Show at the Victoria Palace, appearances in West End shows Jesus Christ Superstar and Babes in the Wood and performing with stars such as Edward Woodward, Les Dawson, Freddie Starr, Dana and Amanda Barrie.

Douglas will be joined by Johnny Dallas, who thrilled audiences at the last Guildhall panto, Guildhall favourite Sheila Pascall, Dave Short and the Starlight Dancers.

The show will be an old-style variety show, with a mix of song, dance and comedy.

There will be two shows - a matinee at 2pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm.

Tickets at £8.50, £7.50 for concessions, are available from the Guildhall box office on 01476 406158.
