Clive Anderson, President of The Woodland Trust, will give a talk at Catmose College, Oakham, on Wednesday, September 3.
Clive Anderson is an award winning writer and TV and radio presenter. He has been a committed supporter of the Woodland Trust for many years and was appointed President in February 2004.

The talk is to celebrate the opening of an exhibition created by students from Rutland's three community colleges with artist Nita Rao and Renga poet Subhadassi.

Through poetry and sculpture students were able to contemplate nature's fragility and appreciation our environment. They used sustainable willow to make trees, used recycled paper clay to make leaves and fragile boats and were introduced to, and created, Japanese Renga poetry in response to the world's changing environment.
