IN reply to John Clark's letter Mobility scooter drivers should obey the rules (Journal, June 27). I am extremely sorry and do apologise.

I thought the 'green man' was still showing when I crossed the junction. I would not put myself or anyone else in danger, therefore I will be more vigilant.

I am aware of danger on the roads and people do make mistakes.
