04/07/08 - Keep up the fight for all our OAPs

Grantham Journal, just want to thank you for well needed support you have given the Ancaster Pensioners with the Ancaster bus service campaign.
It's outrageous that bus companies are charging them instead of being able to use their bus passes as clearly it's not their fault they have to catch which ever bus they can to get to Grantham.
It's important they get all the help we can possibly give them to win this as many pensioners want to keep active (being able to go shopping) and empowered and not having to rely on family (whom have full time jobs and family to taxi them around). My Grandma Mrs Jeanne Tibbs and the pensioners do not want to feel institutionalised in their own village. So keep up the campaigning it's an important issue!
