I WOULD like to thank the Journal for spotlighting our St George's Day event, not only in the paper with the Terry Shelbourne cartoon and then the subsequent follow-up double page spread, but also for putting the slide show and video
on-line too. It was quite an impressive day, I have to say.

THE Grantham Breakthrough Breast Cancer group would like to thank everyone who helped make our Indulgence Evening a successs,
raising £726. Special thanks to the organiser, Tessa Morris, and all the stallholders.
Our recent Countries Quiz raised £578 and the winner was C. Hilton
from the Melton Mowbray BS.
We would also like to thank the people of Grantham for their generous support.

I WOULD like to thank everyone who attended and helped at the Red Cross coffee morning in the Reading Room at Barrowby on April 30. Also, thanks to everyone who donated prizes and cakes.
We raised £405.51.
