I read with horror and disgust your front page article (Journal, August 15) about Mr. Robert Holland's hearse and staff being abused by self-centred motorists.

I took this photograph only a month ago. The scene has some satirical irony.

The 'Hells Angel' (motor cycle enthusiast) moved swiftly down a queue of traffic on Harrowby Road until he approached a hearse.

The rider waited patiently behind as the hearse negotiated the difficult junction with Bridge End Road.
He didn`t "BIP", he didn't rev his loud engine, he didn't gesture, and he didn't spit.

Perhaps the slogan on this fellows jacket should also say "GENTLEMAN"! Talk about "don't judge a book by it's cover"!

Thank you Grantham Journal for giving the good people of Grantham a voice.

Adam Addlesee, and Dad Chris,
Jubilee Avenue, Grantham
