I am writing to express empathy with Mark Reid (Letters, September 19). Like Mark, and too many others I too have been a victim of the lowlife idiots who prowl around vandalising property, when decent, respectable people are enjoying sleep before a hard days work!
I too had my car damaged by a key recently, causing a significant dent in the family budget! This was difficult enough to come to terms with however, after collecting the car from repair, despite it being parked safely upon our drive, we discovered the aerial had been broken off overnight!
Not only that, my sister in law who was visiting had HER car damaged at the same time on our property! What will they do next?
