I WOULD like to draw the council's and Lincolnshire highways department's attention to the crossing at the bottom of St Catherine's Road near the river.
There are two entrances out of the river walk, one goes to the crossing, the other one is about three yards away. I have seen many school children and adults come out of that opening and walk straight across without looking. Somebody is going to get badly hurt or killed on this part of the road if something is not done.
I think it would be a good idea to fence that opening off so they had to use the crossing.
MR DAVID BAKER
