GRANTHAM has come out on top in The Nottingham’s half-year results.
The Nottingham has aimed to reintroduce life back into its high street branches, after a surge of online banking put their presence into the background.
Vivienne Jackson, the branch manager at The Nottingham in Grantham, stated that customers really like the fact we offer a wide variety of services all under one roof”.
Vivienne also added that the branches focus on “providing face-to-face customer service rather than a remote call centre”.
New results show that of The Nottingham’s 31 branches, the Grantham branch has come top overall, with great reviews for its customer service, mortgages, insurance, savings, estate agency and financial planning.
Vivienne said: “We are really pleased with the results for the Grantham branch.
“Some of it must be down to the fact that Grantham is a great place to live with a strong customer demand for our products.
“Grantham has an outstanding hospital, fantastic schools and great transport connections by road and train.”
When online banking emerged a few years ago, high street branches took a notable blow.
However, if Grantham’s branch is anything to go by, branches are fighting back, and are very much back in the foreground.
