Australia - Alarms could be installed in creeks across the Lockyer Valley to protect people who live where flooding is possible such as Grantham - one of the worst hit areas by the recent floods.

Canada - A church in Niagra is raising money to help starving people in Kenya and Ethiopia. Donations can be made at the Christian Benefit Thrift Shop on 254 Grantham Avenue in St Catharines.

Australia - A Grantham couple who lost their newly-built home in the floods have received a donated home through the Hannah’s Foundation Drowning Prevention, Awareness and support charity. It is the first donated homes to be moved into the town.
