Jim Curry brought us in this photograph featuring his father who was a keen cyclist.
As well as the group photograph, Jim also brought in a Grantham Road Club certificate which his father, Jack Curry, had been awarded .
The certificate reads: “This is to certify that on September 6, 1925 Reginald Jack Curry rode 160½ miles in 12 hours on a single bicylce, unpaced.”
The certificate was signed by the President and Honorary Secretary of the club on October 13, 1925.
Jack is the tall, smiling gentleman in the centre of the back row (seventh from the left).
Jim says his father was born in 1905 so would have been around 20 at the time the photograph was taken. His father used to live in Castlegate.
Jim thinks all of those pictured are fellow cyclists.
He added: “I would love to know where the photograph was taken.
“It must be somewhere in Grantham.”
