FORMER pupils of Kesteven and Grantham Girls’ School, including one who started in 1931, gathered to catch up on Saturday.
Eighty-seven members of the KGGS Old Girls’ Luncheon Club met in the Roberts Hall to talk about old times and find out how well the school is doing currently.
Headteacher Graham Burks gave a talk about the school’s recent, and glowing, Ofsted inspection.
Member Paula Ebbins said: “It was both wonderful and reassuring for the Old Girls to be informed that KGGS has retained its reputation as one of the very highest attaining schools in the county.”
Three KGGS pupils showcased their performing arts skills, followed by a raffle. Members of the Old Girls’ Luncheon Club held the raffle to raise money to buy a new piano stool to accompany a recently purchased piano at the school.
