Thursday, 4pm - A SATIRICAL and politically astute film which focuses on the war in Iraq will feature in Grantham tomorrow (Friday). In the Loop, a fast and furious take on Yes, Minister will show at the Guildhall Arts Centre.

In the film, directed by Armando Lannucci, the US President and UK Prime Minister want to go to war, but US General Miller doesn't think it's a great idea and neither does the British secretary of state for international development, Simon Foster.

However, mild-mannered Foster inadvertently appears to back the war on prime-time television and attracts the attention of the Prime Minister's aggressive communications chief, Malcolm Tucker.

Soon the Brits are in Washington, where Foster's off-hand remark quickly spirals out of control.

The film, which contains strong language, starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets are 3.50 (3).

To book, visit the Guildhall Arts Centre on St Peter's Hill, call the box office on 01476 406158 or book online at www.guildhallartscentre.com
