Laugh your head off in Grantham on Thursday night

Ivan Brackenbury

Ivan Brackenbury

Funhouse Comedy Club is bringing another strong line-up of comedians to the Atrium, High Street, Grantham, on Thursday, December 27.

Headlining is Ivan Brackenbury, a bungling hospital DJ. The character was created by Tom Binns who earlier in his career was a breakfast radio DJ on London’s XFM. The hospital DJ combines inapt records with hilarious cues, mishudged dedications and patient requests, to leave the audience in ‘fits’ of laughter.

Supporting is the intensely appealing Philberto. With an effervescent attitude and ruthless approach, he takes a bizarre notion and goes with it. Improvising off his audience in style, he then leaves them totally enthralled and wanting more.

Completing the line-up is Max Dickens with his unassuming persona and imaginative material. Compere for the night is the jovial and lively Spiky Mike.

Tickets are £8 in advance. The laughter starts at 8.30pm, doors open 8pm.
