St Peter's Hill Players present Table Manners, part of Alan Ayckbourn's Norman Conquest trilogy, at the Guildhall Arts Centre from Wednesday to Saturday, November 18.The play takes place in a run-down Victorian country house, in the dining room, over one weekend.

Upper-class neurotic prude Sarah (Barbara Garner) and boring estate agent hubbie Reg (Alan Wartnaby) turn up at the house to look after his ageing mother, allowing his sister Annie (Debbie Taylor) to take a much-needed holiday.

But Annie is not going away with her neighbour, wet vet Tom (Martin Olley), but Norman (Martin Grant) – her wacky brother-in-law who plans to take her away for a dirty weekend in East Grinstead. However, everything does not go to plan especially when Ruth (Tania Lambley), Norman's wife, turns up.

It is directed by Polly Lewis. Performances are at 7.30pm. Tickets at 5 Wednesday and 6 for all other performances are available from the box office (Tel: 01476 406158).
