Friday, 9am - THE summer season of plays at Tolethorpe Hall is underway, and tickets are selling like hotcakes. The Stamford Shakespeare Company will take to the stage for the debut performance of The Tempest on Tuesday, at the 600-seat open-air theatre set in the grounds of Tolethorpe Hall, in Little Casterton, near Stamford.

In addition, the company is performing Oliver Twist and A Midsummer Night's Dream this season, throughout July and August.

Evening performances begin at 8pm.
