TV winner Patrick tops Atrium comedy bill
xxFREEWHEELING Patrick Monahan headlines the next Funhouse Comedy show in Grantham.
The Instantly loveable Patrick, winner of ITV’s Show Me The Funny, appears at the Atrium, in High Street, Grantham on Wednesday, July 11.
Following the release of his debut DVD he was a guest on Loose Women and also appeared at Christmas alongside Philip Schofield and Jason Manford on ITV’s Comedy Annual.
Of Irish-Iranian decent, but brought up on Teeside, he shares tales of his memories and exudes warmth and charisma.
His friendly style, mixed with his hilarious story telling, leaves his audiences wanting more.
Supporting in this Funhouse Comedy Ediburgh Festival preview is the funny and relaxed Andy Robinson.
Starting his life as a musician he moved into comedy and has worked as a warm up artist for TV shows including Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Shooting Stars, Later with Jools Holland and Jonathan Ross,
He is also known as comedy legend Jo Brand’s regular support act.
He draws his audience into his world and then surprises them with his amusing tales.
Supporting him will be Welsh singer and comic Lloyd Griffith. One of the most natural, brightest and original comedians on the circuit, it has been said he has the ‘face of an angel and the body of a trucker’.
Turning to comedy following a career as a professional classical singer, using his natural sarcasm and lively outlook on life he will put you in your place before you even realize.
Compere for the night is the enthusiastic and warm Spiky Mike.
Tickets are £8 in advance and the show starts at 8.30pm.
