Allotment holders face court date

Tuesday, 5.05pm - ALLOTMENT holders at Gonerby Hill Foot have been served notice today to vacate the land or else be taken to court on May 12.
Notice to leave the land has been nailed to fences on the site- with no prior notification given to allotment holders.

The landowners, the Lely family, are also trying to claim back £1,200 a year in rent from the allotment holders.

If the allotment holders do not leave the land they will be taken to Grantham County Court, Harlaxton Road, on Monday, May 12.
