Fire on Edward Street

Wednesday, 9.40pm - FIRE fighters from Grantham were called out to a cooker fire on Edward Street yesterday evening.
Fire and Rescue received a call at 6.47pm to a fire caused by a cooker left unattended. The fire severely damaged the electric cooker and the kitchen was damaged by smoke.

The fire was already extinguished when the fire crew arrived on the scene and fire fighters moved the cooker outside and into the open air.
