Monday, 4.30pm - WINNERS of the Journal Business Awards 2008 were announced on Friday at a spectacular ceremony at Belton Woods Hotel.
Alan Cartwright of A&P Travel was named Business Person of the Year in the award sponsored by Duncan & Toplis.

The Business of the Year Award, sponsored by Grantham Estates, went to Specsavers.

A special Journal lifetime achievement award was presented to John Hindmarch of Grantham Estates.

Other winners included:

  • Green Business of the Year (Sponsored by South Kesteven District Council) - Grantham College and Cafe Leo
