Monday, 4.30pm - LONG-service awards were presented to employees of Downtown Superstore last month.
Five employees have been awarded for their long service to the company, although only Simon Lindley, service technician for the bedroom and dining furniture department, could attend the ceremony.

Store manager Marcus Meadows said: "There was an informal gathering and members of the executive team came across from Boston to present his certificate, badge and £150 reward.

"Our labour turnover is far below the retail average and that reflects the family business approach to the way Downtown is run."
