Tuesday, 7am - ASTONISHING footage shot by a Journal reader is indisputable proof that we're not alone in the universe.
Colin Vole spotted a strange object flying over the skies of Grantham on Saturday night.

First it seemed to circle St Wulfram's Church before abruptly accelerating to incredible speed and vanishing.

Colin later spotted it again, high in the atmosphere above the Guildhall.

He said: "I just couldn't believe what I was seeing. I'd read about sightings of this thing in the Journal but thought it was a load of old rubbish. But then before my eyes I saw this diamond-shaped object with blinking lights.

"It moved so quickly and changed direction without warning.

"It was lucky I had my video camera with me - I was just on my way home from filming diverted freight trains at Grantham Railway Station when I spotted the lights above the church.

"When it flew away I drove around town like a madman trying to see it again and it finally turned up above the Guildhall.

"I used to think aliens were just science fiction - but now I know they're out there."
