Monday, 12.30pm - STEAM train enthusiasts had a treat on Saturday when The Talisman arrived in Grantham.
The A4 Bittern locomotive stopped at Grantham Railway Station just after 10.30am en route to Newcastle.

Train enthusiasts gathered on the platform to see the train. The locomotive itself was returning to Newcastle almost 70 years after it was first delivered to Heaton shed in 1937.

The locomotive passed through Grantham again this morning on its return journey.
