Walton girls get glammed up for show

Thursday, 2.30pm - GLAM rockers at a Grantham school glammed up and rocked out this week with a performance of Mark Wheeler's glam rock tribute "Sequinned Suits and Platform Boots".
Twenty Year 8 and 9 students from Walton Girls' High School have spent three months rehearsing for the show.


Director and teacher Jess Leonard said: "It has been a very challenging piece for the girls, some of whom have never had to learn lines for a performance before.


"It has been an exciting and enjoyable experience for all the the performance was truly fantastic and full of energy."
