IT was the largest turn-out yet to the annual Easter Egg Run.

The roar of engines could be heard from afar as 650 bikers from across the East Midlands gathered at The Meres Leisure Centre to deliver Easter eggs.

The eggs will be distributed by the Salvation Army to youngsters in and around Grantham.

Bikers were greeted on arrival by Mayor of Grantham Rob Hearmon and his wife Delia, along with police cadet Hannah Blakeley. They were then offered hot cross buns, tea and coffee before embarking on the second stage of their charity run.
