“HAPPY birthday to you” rang out around a Grantham residential home on Tuesday as Kitty Greer celebrated her 102nd birthday.
Kitty was surrounded by ner nieces, nephew and friends as she enjoyed her special day at Chandos House, in Gorse Road.
Gestering at the room filled with loved ones, she said: “I never thought it would be all this. I have had a wonderful day. It’s been a most wonderful surprise.”

Here, she made many friends and took part in lots of activities as a member of the church and also the WI group. Just after she turned 100, Kitty moved into Chandos House, where niece Margaret Snape says she leads a happy life.
