Bus journey was a nightmare for us all

TRAVEL on buses has become a nightmare, particularly the 608 to South Witham.

Friday, September 30, was a disgrace. A man aged about 30 and his family got on at the bus station, and started shouting at the top of his voice constantly to his wife or partner, talking absolute rubbish.

An elderly lady asked why he needed to shout, and the abuse he gave her was bordering on insane raving.

The lady bus driver took no action, but allowed this ruckus to continue. Why she failed to stop and call the police I’ll never know. She had a lot of frightened, elderly people on board.

We need action against this type of intimidating and abusive behaviour – now!
