Bank manager uses grant to replace books at Cliffedale school
Yorkshire Bank donated money for books to Cliffedale School. 535C
A BANK manager was awarded a grant to replace reading books at her daughter’s school.
Cliffedale Primary School received £500 from Hannah Martin, who applied for the money through Yorkshire Bank’s Employee Volunteers Grants Programme.
The replacement reading material is much needed for the school and the new books will be more up-to-date and colourful, making them more exciting to use, whilst enhancing the children’s learning experience.
Hannah said: “I have been supporting Cliffedale Primary School ever since my daughter Italia started there last year. I’m delighted to be able to make this donation from Yorkshire Bank which will make a huge difference to the school. I hope the children enjoy their new books!”
