Great Gonerby writer Frank Linter has had his second novel published.
Treachery by Order, a Second World War romance/thriller, is now available to buy in bookshops, published by AH Stockwell. It follows the story of a half English, half German girl who is forced to become a spy until she starts questioning her loyalties.
Author Frank is retired. He wrote the book for pleasure originally and was encouraged to publish it by his friends. It took him a year to write.
One character in the book is based on Frank’s uncle, who was a pilot in the RAF during the war. Grantham and Waddington feature prominently in book. The popular local pub the Blue Pig is even mentioned.
Frank’s earlier book, The Sea Shall Ever Be, was based on his time in the Navy.
