Eight Bottesford workers rewarded for long service

Eight workers at a Bottesford company have been rewarded for their long service.

The employees have all worked more than 20 years at Perfectos Printing Inks Ltd, which makes specialised inks for the textile and sportswear markets.

The employees to receive gifts were R&D technician Stu Gunn, who has worked at the company for 38 years, cleaner Francis Bestwick (27 years), master inkmakers Chris Roberts (27 years), John Holmes (27 years), Neil Baxter (24 years), John McCandless (24 years) and Tony Baxter (22 years), and works manager Neil Westley (22 years).

The employees were presented with gifts of their choice by company owner and founder John Price, operations director Edward Price and company director Jacqui Dixon.

Owner John price said: “They are all fantastic workers, very loyal and hard-working and they always want to please.”

More than 90 per cent of Perfectos inks are exported to more than 70 countries. The company employs more tham 60 people, several of whom have been there for more than 35 years.
