A firm in Grantham which provides software to home providers has been shortlisted as a finalist in both the supplier and website category of the prestigious Landlord and Letting Awards.
Tenant Shop, in Finkin Street, will find out whether it is a winner at a gala dinner in Coventry next month, at the Landlord and Letting Show. National and regional accounts manager Gareth Bowles said: “We are thrilled to be a finalist: it really is testament to our hard work and commitment. We are now just keeping our fingers crossed that we are lucky enough to walk away with a winner’s trophy on the night.” Tenant Shop was founded six years ago by Jamie Parks in Southampton. The business relocated to Grantham in 2011 to take advantage of business links and partnership investment. The team has gone from strength to strength and is now made up of 17 full-time members. Tenant Shop deals with national letting agents, housing associations, property management companies, independents and landlords, providing a free online utility management system which notifies the local authority, water supplier and energy provider that new tenants have moved in or out of properties in the rental market. Mr Parks said: “This is a great opportunity to build the company profile and become a strong employer in and around the Grantham area.”
