Mr G’s ice cream parlour has temporarily set up shop in Grantham.

The shop, due to open tomorrow (Saturday) and owned by Paul and Ann Gromett, will be serving up Mr Whippy, soft scoop and ice lollies as well as cold drinks.

Speaking to the Journal Mrs Gromett said: “There are no independent ice cream shops in Grantham, so this is a little bit of fun for summer.”

Mr and Mrs Gromett already own four ice cream kiosks, three in Skegness and one in Bridlington. If all goes well they may consider making the move to Grantham permanent, though not in their current premises.

Mr G’s ice cream parlour is located on 27 High Street and will be trading until the end of September.
