A FAMILIAR face from Grantham’s business community has returned to the town to open a new business.
Some may remember Imogen Wall as the owner of Westgate Antiques, before she relocated to Denton three years ago.
Now she has returned and set up Belvoir Antiques and Interiors, in Swinegate, just after Christmas.
When she decided to relocate from Denton last year, she considered a move to Stamford and Rutland, but decided Grantham needs her back.
She said: “There’s nowhere else in Grantham that does what I do, particularly the chandeliers. I offer something unique.
“I may have done better in Stamford, but I love Grantham and I love Grantham people.”
The business specialises in chandeliers -both selling and cleaning and restoring - which are sourced from all over the world. It is also a big seller of chandelier drops.
Some of the stunning chandeliers are even loaned out for weddings.
Walnut furniture of 17th and 18th Century style is another specialism at Belvoir Antiques and Interiors, and Imogen also sells antiques, upholstery and garden furniture, in particular stone dogs.
But to appreciate all the Aladdin’s cave has to offer, go along and take a look. The shop is open 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday, and on Sundays by appointment.
