A dessert delivery company is opening up premises in Grantham on Friday, marking its first anniversary.
Martin Richards and Luanne Morton previously operated Indulgence Delivered from their home, delivering sweet treats to customers’ front doors.
Business has gone so well they have taken over premises in Westgate, after receiving support from South Kesteven District Council.
Partners Martin and Luanne launched the business after relocating back to Grantham last year, recognising a gap in the market. But they never envisaged it taking off so well.
Martin said: “In just one year our product base has grown and with it our customer base, so it seemed like the perfect time to expand into a shop in the town centre and with the support we received through the council, it made it a lot easier.”
As part of the opening launch, one lucky winner will receive a free £10 order a month for a whole year, which will be announced on Friday. To be in with a chance of winning visit www.facebook.com/indulge2urdoorgrantham
David Mather, growth and investment service manager for economic development at SKDC, said: “It’s always great when new businesses come to town, but it’s even better when a business out grows its current model and expands.”
In the 2014 Grantham Journal Business Awards back in April, Indulgence Delivered scooped the runner-up prize for ‘Best New Start Up’.
